Codename Condor Posted December 29, 2002 Share Posted December 29, 2002 HI, I have a problem with the video resolution, my monitor is a crappy 1 and only admits 60Hz!! with 1024*678, which was enuff with SC unpatched, but with 1.06 my monitor crash. pzgndr Posted December 30, 2002 Share Posted December 30, 2002 If the game worked fine before the patch, it should work OK with the patch. A couple of suggestions. Review your SC Configuration Settings file. Ensure you have DirectX 7.0 or higher or else ensure you leave the 'high refresh = 0." Or try a complete uninstall and then a clean reinstall with the latest patch. That includes uninstalling the demo. Lots of folks have had problems loading the full game on top of the demo, so it's highly recommended to start fresh. Codename Condor Posted January 2, 2003 Author Share Posted January 2, 2003 At last i managed to run the game!, all i did was to set my desktop configuration at 1024*768 16 bit, and runs fine, but way too small, witrh my usual desktop configuration at 800*600 32 bit the monitor crashes when i launch the game, im runnning directx 8.1, high refresh = 0, and muy monitor doesnt support more than 60 Hz with 1024*768 resolution, if any1 knows a way to launch game without changing my desktop resolution i would appreciate, anmyway, now I can play .
