Guderian Posted May 23, 2004 Share Posted May 23, 2004 Why is it that in the demo I have of SC, the icons for armies, Tank groups, Af's etc etc, are different for each nation, when in all other screenshots I see the icons are the same? What you are seeing, are custom sets of icons made by fanatical fans. They can be found at places like here for download. http://www.ww2n.com/schq/ Must be other places worth a look, but I have not found a better place yet though. Don't take offense, the guys reponding are good dudes (really ) they are not meaning to be annoying or anything. The standard game is only a fraction of what is out there for this game though. It's easy to mod, and easy to make campaigns for (I haven't yet), but if you look at SC HQ, you will notice a lot of user made creations. Just the Strategy Guide alone is an independent creation of one of us players. The demo is just a teaser, and it might even have stuff that has since been made out of date since latest version of the game.
