Rouge Posted September 27, 2002 Share Posted September 27, 2002 Do you think that in SC the weapons of the infanty such as the Ppsh or Mp40 ect affect the performance of armies and corps against other armies cause the weaponry especially on the russian front altered the war the Mp40s rate of fire was 400rpm on the other hand the Ppshs was 900rpm. Plus the higher rate of fire does not directly mean it is a better weapon.. you have to take in consideration SUPPLY, as in you will be walking around with 4000 rounds per soldier. Accuracy is also drastically reduced with higher ROF. here is a great example. The Thompson SMG USA used during WW2 initially had an extreme rate of fire, the Army had the company reduce its ROF from over 1000 rounds per minute to I think around 650 ....
