Col. Kurtz
I have a newbie question concerning the Yugoslavian revolt. What triggers it? Is it time sensitive? Is it dependent upon previous minor countries attacked by the Axis? And most importantly, does the placement of Axis units (including the other Slavic minors) along the Yugoslavian border in anticipation of the revolt delay the revolt? Comrade Trapp
As far as I can tell, its random, although more likely to happen around USSR war entry. I don't think troops in the area or countries attacked by the Axis have any effect on it. Now, since I answered your question, do you have time for a game of SC? Comrade Trapp
My email account isn't working right now. I might be able to host a TCP/IP game right now, if you have time.

hellraiser
- march 41 is the earliest they can join i think. they have a % per turn to coup starting with that date - as for what countries joined/surrendered to axis - i don't think there is a connection with the yugo coup - placement of axis troops around yugo border is irrelevant i guess
Terif
Hmm, reading the manual/updates can be useful sometimes : YUGOSLAVIA (revolt) - Yugoslavia has pro-Allied coup on March 26, 1941 - 10% chance each turn on or after this date - 25% chance each turn on or after this date if Greece has been attacked by Axis So you can´t influence it by your unit placement, USSR has also nothing to do with it - it only revolts usually before Barbarossa cause the more time is over, the more likely it is it already couped. The only thing you can do to influence the revolt is to attack Greece, this increases the chance of 10% to 25% each turn - but on the other side it increases US + USSR readiness too.
