Waffen1 Posted August 10, 2004 Share Posted August 10, 2004 I had purchased Hearts of Iron when it came out and while it had some nice features the buggy gameplay, really terrible logic behind the battles, and the single queued researching really made me mad! This is not the case with Strat Command. I stayed up all night the first night I got it and beat France and England. When I did that the game ended cause I had the US and Russia as neutral. LOL. So I loaded a saved game and declared war on them both before England fell. I must say I am very impressed with how well put together this game is as compared to HOR. Waffen1 Posted August 11, 2004 Author Share Posted August 11, 2004 Oh come to think of it after reading a couple posts, I remembered how cool the AI is in this game. It was really cool to knock on Russias door and see it build corps after corps after corps. I liked the fact that if a town was empty that the AI would purchase a corps and place it on the town if I got close. Thats just plain cool.
