In 1943 US liberated Paris - France was liberated yet Vichy france decided to stay. Why? They should have joined france! So I had to declare war on Vichy france on took south of france. Vichy france stayed in the war anyway! (I guess due to colonies in Afrika?) Soviets took Berlin in summer 1944. Yet Romania and Bulgaria fought to the bitter end. I finally took them late 1944 British took Sycily in 1943 yet Italy did nothing. Now Soviets have Rome surounded in winter 1944... All of this is very cool but quite unexpected... Sink their fleet, kill their grunts, and take all their cities: Vichy France will *not* surrender to the Allies under any circumstances that I have seen and they will *not* rejoin France when you liberate it.
