Hi y'all,

Great game - finally something similar to COS playable on a current machine - I can't wait to play the full version.

After playing around with the demo a couple of times I would like to make some suggestions about the AI:

1) The AI should include a larger level of random-ness

In some situations the AI reacts always the same. For instance the behaviour of the english fleet can be easily manipulated at the beginning of the game.

2) The AI seems disinclined to try a seaborne invasion. Leaving all English ports unoccupied does not seem to tempt the Axis AI to try to invade (at least early in the demo)

3) Sometimes the AI seems a little aimless

I pulled all troops of France and Belgium and let the Axis AI conquer both in the first 2 turnes. The AI the sat around for about a year building a largish Army in Central Europe. I would expect either a commitment in Africa or an early Invasion of Russia?!?

Aside from that I found the AI quite competent defending against an Axis attack in France or Russia an very fun to play against.

By the way: Encirclement are way to ineffective. Rebuilding encirled units should max out with maybe 50% of the resource points of the city if a city is encircled or not at all if an empty hex (ok, may be 2 points should be allowed via air drop but).

Well, 'nuff said.

The point about rebuilding encircled units deserves more attention.

I think that isolated cities (cities that can't trace supply to another city in the home country) should have their supply level halved. This would not allow units to hole up in cities and would encourage a more blitzkrieg-style combat, with large encirclements, etc.

Of course, this is probably all too late for the initial release, but how about the first patch?
