Kuniworth
november 1939, Subs engaged. Probably an english cruiser will be battered next turn. Poland and Denmark will fall next turn. RAF attack german front-units in Flandern.
Terif
Axis turn 4: The last polish unit has been destroyed - Poland surrenders together with Denmark. 3 UK ships slightly damaged in the Atlantic, subs should be sunk next allied turn. Only minor damage to french armies at the border - not enough to kill them - so German air moves forward in striking range of Paris instead of attacking. Kuniworth
december 1939, next turn axis onslaught will begins. Last german sub sunk, Ireland fights on.
Terif
Axis turn 5: Fortuna prevents the onslaught . After two army attacks all 3 german AFs do only minimum damage, so the french army in the bloodhex survives at str. 1 - but next turn Germany can send 5 AFs into battle . Kuniworth
February 1940, Yes allied lines hold the postion. Minor damage done to a german corps.
Terif
Axis turn 6: Germany slowly advancing towards Paris - Allies use a corps defence, i.e. not much damage for both sides.
Kuniworth
march 1940, Corps defence is like a dam, when axis air-pressure gets to intense all will come down flooding at once. But until then
Kuniworth
may 1940, Well Terif is putting his main effort straight into the center. With 5 airs that means he can obliterate 2 units every turn and come closer to Paris. It also means that allied flanks gets problem on what to do. Stay or move? Terif
May 26, 1940: German units reach the outskirts of Paris. Italy will join next turn. Terif
June 16, 1940: France is no more - curiously Bordeaux is UK held but not Brest. One last UK corps south of Paris will be killed next turn. Ireland surrendered to Allies. Italian units spot a UK AF at Malta, german air supported by Rundstedt appears in Sicily.
Kuniworth
june 23, France surrendered a little bit too early. Probably I positioned my forces wrong, one more army in the center would have bought 1 extra turn.

Italians take Suez, an allied bomber attacking italian transports from Gibraltar gets intercepted - no losses for the german fighters. Defenceless allied bombers without escorts: perfect target practice for the german fighter pilots . Allied commander Kuniworth sues for a cease fire - fightings will continue in approximately 2 days. Kuniworth
Ok this is an image of the battle of france with red arrows to illustrate how it was fought. Red xxxx above unit symbol indicate the units are infantry-armies, black is corps. Terif used 6 airfleets against french corps defense and smashed the center. No attacks were made against the flanks as the arrows indicate. The campaign ended with the drive to Bordeaux and destruction of the canadian corps which can be seen here just two hexes east of Paris. The french units in the maginot line surrendered while the two british corps(yellow) and the canadian army(dark blue 2 hexes north of paris) survived the onslaught. Allies would probably have lasted 1 turn longer with some armies in the central second defence line.
