August 24, 1941:

Anti-air has nothing to do with it (BTW it is still at lv 1). German air had to recognice that it is not a good idea to attack a fully entrenched AF in the capital. No damage for the defender.

Gibraltar also attacked by 3 airfleets from Algier, but since fortresses have an air defence bonus of 4, they only did minor damage too.

November 1941:

Should be pretty expensive the attacks at Gibraltar - german air usually receives a hit in return in most attacks. Corps only took 3 str damage this time, so no need to replace it. German corps transport sitting near Gibraltar again reduced to str 3.

Readiness:

USA: 89%

Russia: 79%

November 30, 1941:

In the meantime there is a steady stream of damaged corps returning to England for reinforcement and fresh corps moving south starting in Manchester... :D .

Dowed USSR. Iraq was DOWed and two AF air with lv 3 tech bombards.

We attack with what we can muster - three main battle groups with supporting air and ancilliary units. Took out several USSR armies.

Gibratar - took out two UK naval units. Damaged another BB.

Russia operates units to Beirut in order to conquer Baghdad. Defence line 2 hexes east of Koenigsberg behind the river and between Kiev and Odessa established.

UK reached jets lv 3 some turns ago.

April 5, 1942:

Axis DoWs Spain and moves in with some weak corps and minor units.

Germany follows an air strategy and built 12 airfleets, but not enough ground units.

Russia destroyes a german army near Koenigsberg, reduces another one to str 2. Russian line is strong and not many enemy armies around...

UK attacks in the West and kills a german airfleet (3 remaining in the west)- carriers moving into position for the next strike. Brest under attack, invasion fleet along the french coast. Since Germany built too many airfleets, France is nearly empty besides the german air...

12 airfleets ;) No wonder! Build 10 Armies, 5 Tanks, 4 Airfleets and 4 Top of the line HQs and you're garaunteed to push any Russian at least up to Riga... Aesopo didn't do bad, staple starting for Axis with the bidding system. I could do better but I doubt I'll beat Terif

With 4000 Bid for Russia you're looking at Zhukov with 3 Tanks, and 5-10 Russian Armies Opposing you. Throw in 4-5 more Russian HQs and 10 Corps and you better occuppy those 4 Frontline Cities and Mine within 4-6 Turns or are you're toast! If you don't have LR and didn't kill his first 2 Tanks, and first frontline Armies, it's all over quickly... You gotta Bang Russia, whatever anyone tells you or whatever the Western Allies are doing. You gotta push Russia back half the map and get up to 4 Bar Experience across the board for your Germans...

Try Turkey Invasion or Try Protecting Finland with an HQ and higher Tech Airfleets... Push in the Middle too... Ignore D-Day until they're on top of Paris. Then counter attack and Knock em out of France return to Kill of Russia<IMO in the Western Eastern Axis Attack Theory>
