OT: Gripe with Battlefront

I want this game, but Battlefront is making it hard for me to get it :mad:

1) Live is US and ordered the game on 8/4

2) I was concerned that my order did not go through, so sent an e-mail to sales@battlefront.com on 8/6 to find out if my order was recieved.

3) Hadn't heard anything back so resent an e-mail on 8/9 asking same question.

4) Still have not heard anything back from sales@battlefront.com.

I'd go ahead and just order the game again (I'm pretty sure for some unknown reason my order did not go through), but I'd rather not end up paying for two copies if by chance my first order did go through. So until someone from Battlefront contacts me I'm stuck in freaking limbo.

Does anyone know if the "sales@battlefront.com" address works? If it does, someone must be sleeping on the job.

The only good thing that has come of this is that it motivated me to pull out Clash of Steel and I had forgotten how good of a game COS is! smile.gif

Anyhow, sorry for taking up the time of those of you who are actually playing the game, but I was hoping I might have better luck contacting Battlefront through the forum.

Did you e-mail Madmatt? If not, do so, and he'll definitely get back to ya as soon as he can and straigten the thing out.

I preordered the game, it shipped on July 31, and I had it in my hot hands by the third. My stepson is visting for a couple of weeks. He saw the game, we ordered another copy for him last Tuesday, Aug. 6, and it arrived yesterday morning.

Another thing you could do is to check with your credit card company.. If the order went through you can bet your sweet behind that the very first thing they will do is to charge your card.

If they charged, something went through. If not.. well... I guess it didn't. Know what I mean?

Let's just say they were VERY prompt with mine.. tongue.gif

Thanks for the feedback from all. I e-mailed "MadMatt" and he actually got back to me a few hours later (which is pretty good considering today is Sunday). Anyhow, he said they did not have an order so I put in a new one and everything worked fine this time. Looking forward to getting/playing the game smile.gif
