demoss Posted September 11, 2002 Share Posted September 11, 2002 While playing the new demo (as I wait for my CD to arrive in the mail) last night, I found something interesting. I had denuded Norway of troops while going after Sweden. About a turn after (!) the conquest of Sweden, two British transports pop up off the coast of Norway! I like the idea, but I think it may be a bit excessive for the AI to be trying that in early 1941. Tdolling Posted September 11, 2002 Share Posted September 11, 2002 This move by the allies did happen during WWII. The allies attempted to take Norway back from the Germans. It failed for numerous reasons and should not have been tried back then let alone in the game, but at least the AI can make these kinds of attempts. Bruce70 Posted September 12, 2002 Share Posted September 12, 2002 I suspect that the AI just 'saw' that Norway was empty without 'seeing' that you had troops in Sweden. I think the transports must have been launched the turn Sweden surrendered - at which point the AI should still realize what I have there. Maybe it's too much to ask for it to remember.
