House rules: 1) DOW+landing on Major nation (same turn) forbidden. 2) Iraq can ONLY be DOW by Allies AND the first unit to enter Iraq must come from West (Vichy) or Southwest (Egypt). zappsweden Posted January 18, 2004 Author Share Posted January 18, 2004 Turn 1-3: I used one air in Poland to get the important "Polish Breakthrough" on turn 1. Poland surrendered on turn 2. Denmark surrendered on turn 2 after Danish corps moved away from its defences and left Capital unprotected. LC-Lite was used (I moved the tank to Ardenner and only used 2 air). LC still holding. Axis subs in the Atlantic were sunk early because Allies did NOT DOW Ireland, instead they used the carriers in the sub hunting. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Avatar Posted January 18, 2004 Share Posted January 18, 2004 Game Over LC was firmly Allied, and although the LC-Lite strategy was used, it failed to secure Brussels. Although Denmark and Poland fell very quickly, Axis forces could not push through. Good game Zapp, there wasn't all that much you could do.
