I've got a bunch of little books but I don't seem to remember seeing ambush schemed SPWs... Regardless if this was the artist taking liberties, it doesn't matter. "D-Day To Berlin" by Terence Wise (displays a 251/1), and "New Vanguard #25 - SdKfz 251 Half-Track 1939 - 1945" (displays a 251/2).
