flamingknives Posted April 18, 2004 Share Posted April 18, 2004 There's no such type as 'destroy' ops, only the usual assault, advance and static types. If I recall the original team Desobry Op, it'll probably be a static op. Other than that, the parameters can be edited so that attacker casualties cost more or less than thier stated points, so the attacker has to be less or more careful with their forces. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Kingfish Posted April 18, 2004 Share Posted April 18, 2004 Yes, destroy was one of the categories in CMBO. It has been replaced by static, although the goal is now VL orientated rather than kill / loss ratios. IIRC, the original Desorby Op was set at advance, but the game would end after the first battle due to the Germans flanking the town and reaching the map edge.
