David Aitken Posted June 22, 2001 Share Posted June 22, 2001 As far as I know, if a tank is 'abandoned' (as opposed to 'knocked out') during an Operation, there is a chance that you will get it back in the next battle. Here's a question: Does the amount of damage affect the turn around time? IOW, does a vehicle that ran over a minefield (and is abandoned) take longer than one that just threw a track in the mud? CombinedArms Posted June 22, 2001 Share Posted June 22, 2001 I got the same tank back twice (or anyway, it had the same commander) over the three days/nights of Ardennes-Team DeSobry. I also got one "gun damaged" tank back in full working order for the next battle--this surprised me. Does anyone know how abandoned and returned tanks are scored in an Operation?
