MichaelU
Here's a true story of CM helping me in work, and another reason why I think my company should pay for my copy of CM2 and for a computer to play it on. I'm editing a story from a reporter (I work for a newswire). The reporter mentions some University of Achen. Wait a minute, thinks I, I remember bloody fighting through the streets of Aachen in CM. Could this be one and the same city? Sure enough, on close questioning the reporter revealed this was a typo, and our company was saved the embarassment of a rather silly mistake. I'm not sure though if this makes up for the hundreds of work hours the company has lost through me surfing the forum.
JessRobinson
CM has taught me that when I see my boss coming towards me with "that" look on her face, it's time to go hull down.
Tanks a Lot
I learned how to convert my cubicle into a pillbox. Just have to remember where I planted those mines.
Wesreidau
I found the best tactic was to introduce your boss to the game. Nuff said...
freelancal
I got to bill one of my clients for an hour of my time, setting up a "Disney style map", setting up hills, rivers, towns for a flow chart and taking a screen shot. Paid for the game - Hey, you can't beat that.
