Clinton
Will the ground condition effect morter hits and art hits? (Exp. During the winter encirclment of German troops between the Don and Volga Rivers in '42, because of the frozen ground morter hits became deadlier seeing that the rounds barely indented into the ground before exploding, therefore sending out more shrapnel than a moist, soft ground impact would. Will this be modeled in CMBB? Clinton
Pzman
If anything they would be less deadly there would be less objects to creat shrapnel. [ 07-03-2001: Message edited by: Panzerman ]
Ellros
Sorry Rob, but Clinton is correct. Same principle applies to shells exploding on concrete. On the reverse though, deep snow or mud tend to muffle the explosive effect.
