Mirovka is the name of that scenario. Check it out at the scenario depot, and leave a review, thank you.

Elements of the 132nd Infantry division attack Russian possitions outside Mirovka.

Meant to be played as Axis vs AI.

Stick to Scenario Default set up.

Semi-historical

August 1st 1941

Clear Weather

Dawn

Gottlob Bidermann was a gun crew man in the German Wehrmacht serving with the 132nd Infantry division. He marched into Russia with his company and his fellow crew man of a 37mm PAK.

He hasn't seen much action in east until now, when they reach Kargarlyk. Beyond Kargarlyk lies the small town of Mirovka and outside and in it are prepared Russian possitions. This is the first significant engagment he and his guncrew experience.

The town of Mirovka is just another small town in the vastness that is Russia. It lies in the path of the German advance, and it must be taken for the German troops to keep moving east. It is in the middle of no where, endless horizon all around it, and almost no trees around to hide under from the burning sun. All that is visible is the Russian steppe, a few gentle slopes here and there. Some wheat farms, orchards, tomato farms and small peasent shacks. Into this, his company marches on, proudly and with courage. Opposite them, an unkown foe, who is waiting in ambush.

Authors comments:

I got the idea for this scenario from the book "Deadly Combat, by Gottlob Bidermann".
