Richard Morgan
Have you ever played Command & Conquer? Tanks there ARE allowed to run over 'grunts' and you get a lovely squidgy sound effect when you do. The ex grunt ends up looking like road-kill   On a more serious note, 'grunt crushing' most certainly did occur, but was it a common enough event to warrant BTS modelling it? I really don't know. Regards, Richard.
Puff the Magic Dragon
It was common enough that it was recommended in a memorandum for German tankers...
Moon
Don't forget the scale, though. How would you explain if CM allowed a tank to crush a whole squad of 12 soldiers?

Ogadai
I am presently just finishing off reading the book, "Monty's Marauders: Black Rat and Red Fox" by Patrick Delaforce which is a history of the British 4th Armoured Brigade and 8th Armoured Brigade. Throughout most of the fighting in eastern Holland and western Germany, he mentions that quite often tanks were used to run over Panzershrek teams and other infantry. I'm sure he mentions it at least a dozen times throughout the latter part of the book.
