Now I understand that a probe is a operation for a unit to search for and test the enemy's lines strength. However in CM it sems to me that the 2 opposing forces will just be engaged in a attack /defense type battle. What are the real objectives for a Probe battle in CM? The difference is how much stuff you get to do it, and how deep in enemy territory the flags are. On the other edge is the meeting, where both get as much, and the flags are in the middle.
