Harv
As you may know, I have created and maintained the CM Scenario/Operation Database. I am going to be getting busy again until fall, so I will not be able to check all of the websites for your scenarios/ops like I have been doing. I have created 2 templates that will take very little of your time to fill out, and would ease my workload immeasureably. Having you help me with this will ensure that the database is always up to date, and there will be fewer errors. The scenario template is here: http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/Forum6/HTML/000902.html The operation template is here: http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/Forum6/HTML/000903.html Thanks for your help, Harv ------------------ Get The CM Scenario Database Here: http://wbr.thegamers.net/boots_tracks/index.asp
Harv
More info...As far as I know, I have all scenarios posted to websites as of February 14. If you have posted any after that date, please send me the information listed in the templates in the links above. Thanks, Harv

Harv
Many thanks to the many of you that have sent in your info already. It is muchly appreciated. I have added a Template worksheet to the database that should ease everyone's workload. I'll be sending it off to Boots & Tracks today, and will announce when it's up. This will be version 1.08. Now, there seems to be a just a little confusion about some of the database fields: 1) There are no "optional" fields. I must have all of the data as it is in CM. "FOW", "Secret", and "No Need to Know" are not acceptable I'm afraid. Nothing in the database will affect FOW, as all of the information is available from the scenario selection screen or as soon as you start the scenario. The only one that may be interpreted as too much information is the "Defenders Tanks Dig in?" field, and I have included that because it isn't immediately apparent when the scenario starts and many people will miss it during their setup, especially with TCP/IP and a short timer. 2) The "Brief Description" field is to have the same text as given on the scenario selection screen in CM itself. That's all for now. Thanks again. Harv
