John Kettler Posted June 24, 2001 Share Posted June 24, 2001 This Sunday the U.S. History Channel airs an Eastern Front marathon of a series covering the War in the East from a Russian perspective. I forget the title, but it airs at 7 p.m. Eastern and Pacific time, 8 p.m. Central. May possibly run earlier in addition. Check your listings. It's a must watch for people doing maps, terrain mods, etc. Listen firsthand to the Russian veteran describe going straight into battle with only rudimentary training and only one man in five having a rifle with a handful of cartridges.
