Rat
Hey all. Tuesday I finally received my copy from battlefront of CM and I must say... WHOOOHA! At last I can let my tactical insights go frentic on this masterpiece. There is one thing though. I would like to install some MODS like the DESERT FOX mod which Im eager to play. I DLed MCM 3 to convert them into CM but the thingie seems to screw up my system and it hangs. How can I properly install MODS and which prog is the most suitable to compleet this task? For I forget, I use a Macintosh. ` Thnx Greets Rat
Hoopenfaust2
Just be more specific about what happens when you try to install the mods.
Maximus
Well I probably shouldn't, but I just gotta...
quote:
Originally posted by Rat: I use a Macintosh.

I'd say that's part of your problem. But in all seriousness, the Mac Mod Manager is supposed to be able to convert Windows bitmaps into resource files compatible to MacOS or some sh*t like that. Which then go into your Graphics folders. aikidorat
hey rat! need more info, re: how MCM3 screwed up your system. It shouldnt do that. did you try to mod with CM open/running? that's the only thing that would really hose you up. also, be more specific as to which mods you tried to convert (what does the log file say), and feel free to email me off line. havent been too many issues with MCM3, except for the resource file size limit issue, which i doubt you've reached. dave
