danvnuk Posted October 15, 2001 Share Posted October 15, 2001 Having seen some very nice skies in various Pics on this board, (Maguas Normandy) I downloaded the files needed. The thing is, they don't seem to display properly. I remember getting some skies months ago, and re-naming the BMP's to force them to be displayed. Sadly I cant remember how I did this (it was a post on this board that helped!) I've tried doing a search, but the feature has become so slow its almost unusable! can anyone help me out here? Cubbies Phan Posted October 15, 2001 Share Posted October 15, 2001 Well depending on what kind of video card you have, only certain size of textures will be used. Voodoo 3 and older cards tend to only allow textures up to the size of 256x256 pixels. Magua made both sizes of skies, the 256x256 size and then the 1024x256 size.
