Micheal Wittman
Hello Gentlemen, i've found myself wondering on many occasions as to how well hidden a particular unit is. Say I have a tank hidden in scattered woods that's been stationary from the start and hasn't fired on anybody, than boom, from across the map it's taken out!? I know there is the siluette rating, but it doesn't really help in deducing how concealed a unit is for me. Also if a unit has been spotted by an enemy unit in "los" maybe there should be some indication to the spotted unit that they are no longer hidden. I've lost many units thinking of the factors, scattered trees, woods, various units, distance of enemy units, etc and was not correct on how "CMBO" was equating units exposure. CheerZ! Louie the Toad
Please explain in terms of reality how a unit would know it has been sighted, unless of course it is fired upon? And maybe not even then. I agree, it would be nice to know the "concealment factor" of different terrain. But that is something quite different. Micheal Wittman
Yes Mr.Toad, it would be harder to guess if you where spotted, unless your where shot at, or you overheard the enemy saying, oh look over there But it would be handy to have some way of guaging how well any unit is concealed.
