ned lud Posted April 10, 2001 Share Posted April 10, 2001 Has any smart soldier bundled all the combat mission goodies - sounds/mods/drivers/patches/etc into a directory that is excessible over the net. Im just starting and finding it a minefield of info scattered everywhere... not that i mind minefields...but it would be easier. Any ideas of the best place to start? t(h)anks !!! Olle Petersson Posted April 11, 2001 Share Posted April 11, 2001 There is a very good reason why all mods are not available at one site: - No ISP would support it (at anywhere reasonable costs)! As soon as there's a new mod out, hundreds of players download it. You get a server bandwidth of at least 1GB/day, which is way more than most hosts will accept. (Combat Missions had some serious problem with this. I did a search for the thread but the search engine didn't work.)
