markgame
Does anyone have the URL to a good website or two that provides a summary of museums with tanks or other armor related exhibits, particularly in the USA or Canada? We are planning our summer vacation and so far we haven't really focused in on any particular region.
Warphead
http://www.activevr.com/afv/museums.html And www.jagdtiger.de of course. We have some US museums in the links section. They are not covered (yet) though...
jhdeerslayer
There's a really good one at Fort Knox, Kentucky and they used to have a WWII re-enactmanent on July 4th that involved a Hetzer (I believe), AT guns, and Shermans. P-51's would do a fly by also with guns blazing (blanks of course). It was awesome and very loud. Bunch of infantry also. Highly recommended for a CM kind of guy. The musuem had numerous tanks inside and out. Think they had a King Tiger if I remember right plus a T-34 and numerous others. Patton's ivory revolvers are on display as well.
