Sounds

Recommended Posts

Ok, I got some questions about the sounds

especially of what the soldiers say in the

beta demo - what are the germans saying

i.e their phrases

And why do the americans have allthese tough

deep football voices and the germans

have these high voices

As far as I can tell, there are only two voices: one for the Americans, and one for the Germans. They sound different because, well, they ARE different. And the American voice isn't deep all of the time. When retreating they might say "let's get out of here!" in a quite high, panicked voice.

Well if you have downloaded the Sudden Strike demo, and hacked around abit in the installed directories, there are some cool german, Russian, Bristish and US voices (male and female) to use within CM tongue.gif

The Gold version has several new American voices by the way...

I dont speak German so I cant tell how many different voices were used on that one.

No slip, The gold version will have more than one American voice unlike the old demo which just had one.

I am not sure what your getting at???

I was just teasing you a bit, Matt...

The present tense phrasing makes it sound as if the Gold is a done deed now. ("The Gold version has...", instead of, "The Gold version will have...")

Write my comment off to just one more person playing the waiting and guessing game smile.gif
