getthat_wreckoff_theroad
:confused Since upgrading to a PIII last year I have found many of my old games virtually unplayable as they are now too fast - ie Commandos, UFO enemey unknown, PG (scroll speed too fast) etc... What is the answer to this ???? Should I just forget these old games ? I think hardware is availbable to slow down a CPU, but why can't some kind of internal check be incorporated into the game software ???? In 5 years time will CM be umplayable on my new PC because the map rotates too quickly ?????? :confused
Colin
I've had that problem too. It's sorta pathetic actually. ------------------ Visit my webpage! http://cm4mac.tripod.com
getthat_wreckoff_theroad
Yeah - and damn annoying !!! :mad I spent a while playing Commandos to get about 2/3 of the way thru the missions and then upgraded. AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH. I can't even play my favorite version of Joust or Tetris (released in about 93). Technology sometimes sucks !
