She asked me to get off and pay attention to family matters. I just couldn't help but get that last file out before she sent a round of 105 mm crashing down upon me. OK, so I bellied up a pair of earrings ($100 US), then we had to go shopping for a patio table ($100 US) to quell her hurt feelings, then just to smooth everything out, a dinner at a fine Mexican restaurant another $100.
