PawBroon
Hi all, Been playing wargames for years and that one is by FAR the greatest of all. I even almost weeped when the forum was down because I thought BTS had been bought over by Mattel/Hasbro and was retrofitting the game to Barbie Style ROE. I'm hooking my dad on that game and he is pathetic. But he had a good idea: >>what if a Comp VS Comp option could be included for that pops of mine to sit and learn some from the AI?<<
Berlichtingen
That would be TCP/IP, and it is intended to be included with a patch after the game releases.
PawBroon
Excuse my french but what I had in mind was a stand-alone Comp VS Comp. You sit in front of YOUR screen, watch the thingy rip itself apart, play it over and over and learn from it. Sure will beats pedagogy.
bighead
Are you talking abot Local area network or LAN?? That'd be real cool if CM can give a patch for that later on!!

My Scottish girl friend is here tomorrow and she will correct the posting. First: What I had in mind is a self playing game where you would have just had the opportunity to do the SETUP PHASE and play the VCR. That way you could see what is it that you are lacking when the AI is pounding you over and over. Would be like a self inflicted boot camp. Second: The TCP/IP protocol is made as such as you could either play on a LAN supporting it or online. Unless I'm wrong... ;°) ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
Blackhorse
That would be kinda cool Paw. That way you could watch a battle unfold before your eyes. Maybe BTS will incorporate that in CM2.
