After playing a little of Close Combat 5 (Normandy Invasion), I have now come to the conclusion I can never go back to that type of game again after Combat Mission. That means I have to wait until Combat Mission 2 is released for a new WWII game! Charles, you are a programming genius. Keep up the amazing work. I have one request for Combat Mission 2: Allow units to get better with experience (from battle to battle they can go from regular to veteren etc.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I downloaded the SPII demo today, but, as with you found that hexes don't mix well with a 3D battlefiled experienced fighter. Although the modeling of weapons was quite well done. To each his own.
