Panzertruppen maddox
Are there different levels of victory possible in TacOps? Such as significant victory, overwhelming defeat, etc...
MajorH TacOps Developer
No. You either accomplish your assigned mission in the time allowed or you don't.
MajorH TacOps Developer
By the way, TacOps does not enforce "end of game". At some point a window will appear that announces the end of a scenario and who (if anyone) accomplished their mission. However, you can close that window and keep on playing if you want to.

Redwolf
In the end game window, you also get a list of casulties. You can use that proportion to make a simple formula like "losing half of your force and mission success is a 60% victory" or some other scheme. However, as with all these games the losses are computed on the base of prices for the units, and any of these pricing schemes is random and is garbage under some circumstances. For example, I'd rather have CM work on a mission-only bases than the current scheme where the objective's value is pretty low compared to losses and two MG-only APCs count as much as a full tank.
