billcarey
A bizzare occurrance: While playing Riesberg and running a W+ around town as fast as possible with no support it was immobilized and shocked by an 88. The 88 then turn around and tried to run away. The crew did not abandon the gun, they rotated the gun to not face the sherman and started crawling in place. Very odd behavior. The next time two tanks went flying through town. One of them was shocked and immobilized, the other shocked and *ran into* the 88. Instead of say, shooting the sherman at a range of 0 meters, the 88 again turned around and tried to run away. Is this bizzare behavior a Tac AI thing that has since been fixed or is it an indication of the extent to which the crews of 88 are chicken whenever a Sherman gets within 50 metres? - Bill
Moon
Just an idea - maybe the 88 had no more ammo?
billcarey
He had taken 1 shot. The crew didn't abandon, they turned the gun! It was very surreal. - Bill
Guest Big Time Software
Very strange I'd say that would be a bug, but it is hard to say without seeing it. If you have a save of that you can email it to me, but I would suspect that whatever caused that to happen has long since been fixed. But you NEVER know!
