I saved the file in my CM directory and created a shortcut on the desktop. However, when I click on the shortcut (or the file within the directory), a window opens "Combat Mission Public Beta" which shows the directory address where the file is stored. It gives me choices such as "refresh" and "finish". It says it's extracted the file. But I still can't get the file to execute. Jumbo Posted December 30, 2000 Share Posted December 30, 2000 Go back in Windows Explorer and make another shortcut for the desk top. Make sure it is made from the following file: Combat Mission Public Beta.exe (Delete the old shortcut that is giving you trouble, so you don't get them confused.)
