Von Brizee Posted July 25, 2000 Share Posted July 25, 2000 If anyone is interested, I downloaded this scenario over at http://www.combatmissions.co.uk/scenarios.htm If you downloaded the Mad Dog Sounds, this battle sounds exactly like Saving Private Ryan's first 15 minutes. When your men come charging out of the assault boats you can hear the bullets spinging off the sides, it's great. I got my ass handed to me in this scenario, because the Germans have hull down pillboxes and interlocking MG's all over the place. Just give yourself a small advantage to make it easier. The Germans also did war crimes in this scenario against me. I had about 20 men from various teams surrender on the beach, and the Germans kept shooting at them, killing them all. There were no other Ami troops around, just the prisoners. I was laughing. Serves them right for giving up so easy.
