tacops new maps

Hi Major,or any other specialist

I have troubles with loading the new map types in the game.

All I get is a big grey square instead of a map.

Does someone else have this,or do you know what causes the problem,please let me know.

That is an indication that there is not enough memory on your system to load the map.

If you have Windows set to use True Color (32 bit) then change the setting to High Color (16 bi).

If that does not help then change the setting to 256 colors.

Hello. I recently downloaded the demo and am seriously considering purchasing. So, could you folks please tell me what extra maps you're talking about?

Some users have made addtional maps using the map making utility.

Goto ...

http://www.battlefront.com/resources/tacops/

Then click on the button labeled "Map Room".

I don't think these maps work with the demo version.

I use demos to evaluate products. If I don't care for the demo, it comes off my hard drive. If I like it then I buy the game. Didn't like BCT at all but, except for a couple of things, I do like tacops and will likely order it in the next couple of days. So I'm not concerned that the maps don't work in the demo. But one very important thing I look for in a game is replayability and all those extra maps certainly add to that. And that's why I asked about them.
