Leveraging Intelliegence

What about clandestine ops? Like a recon team going in and finding the enemy, then exfiltrating them out with MH-53's or MH-60's. Giving them a slight percentage of getting caught and having to fight there way out. Or designing the capability to insert a team to do Interdiction, ambush , harassment, etc, to OPFOR. And vice versa, giving OPFOR these capabilities.

Thought of something else too. Have comm come in and once in a while give you an update that they intercepted an enemy transmission that they are on the move, and then react accordingly. Of course, giving the option that OPFOR can have this capability too. You could also add into comm that you can activate scrambling so that when you give orders, they're not compromised. I know this is alot for a game, but its realistic, and you asked.

A TacOps player can already do all of these things by giving orders to his units that cause them to perform these tasks.

Perhaps I don't understand the question.

A way to simulate high level intel might be to "tint" or otherwise designate grid squares where OPFOR activity has been detected. It wouldn't need to be specific enough to plot fires on. Just enough to give an idea of the current general location of OPFOR formations. You would then have to commit your own recon assests to futher develop the situation.
