mikeadams
I have noticed a variety of requests for CM to be expanded to cover every theatre of WWII. WWI, the civil war (US), Napoleon, Frederick the Great etc. etc. Obviously BTS cannot manage all of these equests (even they wanted to). So, have you thought of licensing the underlying game engine to other developers who could take on soem of these other areas?
Guest Madmatt
From interview with Charles Moylan currently at http://guru3d.com/interview/combatmission/ "Q: Are there any plans to license out the Combat Mission engine to other wargaming aficionados? A: Not at the moment." Madmatt ------------------ If it's in Combat Mission, it's on Combat Mission HQ! Bruno Weiss
Ordinarily or at least in the past that might have been a tempting idea, and one that has been done sometimes. But now-a-days with Hasbeen and the likes attempting to turn us all into video freaks I'm not sure but what I'd rather sit and wait on the tried and true methods like BTS is using.
