Johan Brittz Posted March 18, 2000 Share Posted March 18, 2000 Just suggested this to one of my opponents - might help some of you through the GREAT WAIT: "my gut instinct tell me the Gold is close (or is that wishfull thinking!?) Anyway came up with an idea for a short and deadly pass-the-timer. We play 2 CE games simultaneously. Flags don't matter. Both of us attack as Allieds. Allied troops can go anywhere, but the Shermans may only go through the gap between the forest & the church. The Germans can do what they want. Only 10 rounds (movies) allowed. This should allow the Allied player enough chance to lay a smoke barrage before he charges. The winner is the guy who gets a Sherman closest to the Axis edge of the map (dead or alive does'nt matter) or exits first off the Axis map edge. Game(s) stop as soon as the last Sherman is destroyed or the first one exit the map edge.
