I have installed it and I am playing it again, but I am wondering if it is worth upgrading to the new 3.0 version. Like many I had awaited TacOps 98 and was saddened when it was stopped. James Sterrett Posted May 20, 2000 Share Posted May 20, 2000 TacOps has been undergoing evolutionary upgrades with each version number. v3.0 is in many ways the same game as v1.04 - there are few radical changes. However, there are a lot of tweaks, new maps, new units, etc amen. There's a demo on this site you can download and have a look at.
