Pretty impressive sequence of a pershing driving up to a panther and putting a couple of holes in it. After the first hit the crew had about 20 seconds to bail. Another sequence illustrated the kinds of wounds that a tanker could sustain. No amount of money or patriotism could ever get me in a tank. It kind of dampened my enthusiasm for CM for awhile. Jarhead Posted December 9, 2000 Share Posted December 9, 2000 It does not take much effort to imagine what would happen to you inside a buttoned up Sherman when an 88mm (or any other for that matter) round punches through. I was surprised to see that the "Free French " tanker was for the most part in one piece. I always thought a hit in the main compartment would pretty much cause a body to assume more of a toasted mush state. ------------------ Semper Fi.
