Is it me or is the force size 1000 the maximum for a QB?

Yes, this is going to be altered in the next patch. However, keep in mind that even now, the 1000 point limitation applies to the defender. With the attacker handicapping settings already in place for QB's, at least one side (the attacker) can have substantially more points than 1000.

A new upper limit of 5000 points is available in ver. 1.02 (only available on new CDs). My one experience with a battle this size is that the game was ... boring.

Too many units and my PC is too slow to process the turns (like 5-10 minutes).

Just buy JagdTigers and KoningsTigers, and 5000 points will dry up very quickly
