Questions about the game engines

I am trying to understand what the main difference there are between the engines for example engine 3 or engine 4?  In plain English please.

The later engines are iterations on the earlier. They're just upgrades, with bug fixes and feature improvements. There's very little reason for a player of the game to even consider the differences; progress is pretty much uniformly positive.

Thanks Womble.  I just got through reading up on that subject and you are correct.  It's a subject best left to others to know and understand.
