Operations Battle Maps

When playing an operations set of scenarios, is there any way for a player to get an overall map picture of the entire battlefield (all scenarios)?

For example, have been playing the Mortain operation. It would be a nice enhancement for a player to see a map representation of the entire battle area, not just the given scenario.

Perhaps a separate, larger scale, "Operations Map" a player can use to establish intermediate objectives, get an overall look at area that must be covered, etc.

By the way, to the designer of the Mortain Operations, nice job! I've recently looked at the web site you referred to in the scenario briefing...unfortunately, I've had the same experience the americans had....oh, well!

Probably only way to do that would be to go into scenario editing. Delete all the unit info first thing, so you cant spoil anything for yourself later. Then save the file under a different name. Then you can go into editor, click on map and click on review. You can browse around the Map that way all you want.

If you just open the map in the editor (don't go to preview, just look at the terrain tiles), you can see the extent of the map and the landmarks. Think of it as a stylized topo. Don't look at the units section in the editor, of course. If you want to see the map in 3d, above suggestion works, but it's more complicated.
