patboivin
I read that in CM the map size will be a maximum of 2km by 4km. Can I create a grid of 2km by 4km squares, in some sort of strategic view, that would provide a context for the 2x4 tactical maps? I would like to cover a large area, but let people place their units wherever they want on the map. Then they would move them in the strategic scale, and when two enemy groups end up on the same 2x4 map we could play this as a scenario. Is this feasible? Thanks. Doug Beman
Hm. I suspect if you head over to http://cmhq.tzo.com/ and click on the link to the Cm MetaCampaign you'll find that this is exactly what is being done. DjB

But you could use a 3rd party system to keep track of were units are on a larger map and then send them into a CM game when they engage each other. For example there is CyberBoard; http://www.execpc.com/~d-larson/cyberboard.html#download which is freeware. There are several others of these player aids including Aide de Camp put out by HPS.
