Red Devils Posted August 13, 2000 Share Posted August 13, 2000 I don't want to jump too far ahead here w/ CM2, 3 and 4 still in the planning stages. But, CM's original design, lush landscapes and smooth play seems like it would lend itself well to other areas of history. Perhaps this will come from BTS or someone else ripping off the design. I have already seen someone suggest the engine be used to represent an American Civil War game. I think it would work very well as Vietnam era game myself. I have always been a big Franco-Prussian War fan as well. With some tweaking, this also might make a fabulous medievil game (Shogun-ish?). Anyway, I wondered what other eras CM gamers would like to see done w/ this engine. No doubt a large number of people will beg for it to remain true to its origins. ------------------ I'm sorry, we haven't the facilities to take all of you prisoner. Was there anything else?
