killmore
I belive CM4 was to be about early war. I think Poland had about 20 armored trains that were suprisingly usefull. Any chance these can be considered for CM 4? You know what? I think it was silly of me to ask this question before even CM1 is released - sorry! Fionn
Hell, I want to see them in CM2 . The Russians had a lot of well-armoured trains which did sterling service as did the Germans even though they sometimes needed extempore conversions with H-35s or R-39s bolted onto train carriages for anti-partisan protection. Anyways, I'm hoping we'll see them in CM2 .
Lorak
IIRC didn't the germans have trouble using their trains in Russia? Due to diffrent track widths? Lorak ------------------ http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/combatmissionclub
MikeT
The Germans did have to make a conversion of their trains for Russian tracks. I think I even read that the Russians had some trains modified to make the conversion nearly automatic, or as automatic as was possible in those days. Germans used some captured rail stock just to make matters easier. I also read once that the Germans used captured A/Cs and French AFVs on flatcars that would dismount the train and hunt down the partisans for a more mobile battle.
