Douglas Rudd
Searched and found nothing helpful, soooo... Is the any way in a quick battle to have the map longer east --> west than north/south? Even when selecting large, the map is always is wider north/south than east west. Thanks! patboivin
I don't think you can set the map size, it's set automatically by the Quick Battle generator. You can create your own scenario, though.
Daveman
As far as I know, map size is set by two, possibly three points: 1. Number of points used 2. "Size" of map selected... small = forces will be packed in, medium = forces will be evenly spread out, large = map will be wider than forces can reasonably cover 3. Type of engagement? Aren't Probe/Attack/Assualt maps deeper than Meeting Engagements? ------------------ "You know our standing orders. IntelWeenie
Only way I've seen a longer map in QB is to pick a small map with low points for forces (it will be really small area-wise, though). The map size is relative to points, so a small map will be narrower than a medium or large map for the same forces. I haven't seen anything that affects the map length as much as the width. ------------------ Canada: Where men were men, unless they were horses. -Dudley Do-right
