John Kettler
Was casting about for a good spy series to watch when I came across the above on a list of best TV spy shows. The video quality isn't great, but the show is--in a bunch of ways. Spook stuff, politics, bureaucracy, ambition, coercion, favors, internal and inter agency infighting, doubtful loyalties, the "cousins" and more are all on display. Begin your addiction here. Childress
The series scored an impressive 8.9 rating on IMDB. But Britain was a very different country then. Produced in 1978 it may suffer on the relevance index. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077078/?ref_=nv_sr_1
John Kettler
Childress, It is highly relevant: terrorism, illegal weapon technology transfer, kidnapped scientists, regime change, moles, defections, etc. I find it utterly engrossing. Added to that, I think they use some sort of time expansion magic, for each 52 minute episode is more like a two-hour one. Have no idea how they do it, but that's how I perceive my viewing experience. Regards, John Kettler
John Kettler
Childress, Have now watched the entire series. How I wish it had just kept going! Must watch, as far as I'm concerned. Regards, John Kettler
